The University of Central Florida/HCA Healthcare Emergency Medicine Residency of Greater Orlando is seeking an Associate Program Director. The residency was founded in 2016 and is based at Osceola Regional Medical Center, a teaching hospital for the UCF COM, and home to residency programs in Internal Medicine, Neurology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Psychiatry, General Surgery and Transitional year, in addition to EM.

Preference will be given to candidates who have one or more of the following:

  1. Completed a Medical Education Fellowship
  2. Two years prior Core Faculty or Assistant Program Director experience in an Emergency Medicine Residency
  3. Background and experience in curricular design and evaluation, resident and student assessment, coaching/remediation and recruitment.

You will be joining a cohesive and collegial community of clinical and academic faculty with demonstrated passion for, and commitment to, EM education for students, residents and faculty. Faculty are employed through Envision Healthcare. The compensation package is attractive and includes a generous stipend for academic duties, with protected time, in addition to a competitive clinical rate. The position comes with an academic appointment to the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, with traditional opportunities for academic advancement and promotion.
