In recognition of Envision’s commitment to employee diversity and inclusion, a group of women physicians across Envision’s multiple specialties cruised South Florida’s water for a day of team building and art.

“It was a great day for us to learn more about one another and celebrate our accomplishments as women in healthcare,” said Amy Pulido, M.D., Chief of Anesthesia at Memorial Regional Hospital. “We all come from different specialties and backgrounds and work in different facilities, but we’re united by Envision and a shared passion for caring for patients and advancing the overall delivery of care.”

Dr. Pulido (anesthesiologist) and Bao Tran Doan, M.D. (interventional radiologist), organized the event as part of the Envision Lean In Circle, which brings women together to support and champion one another. They spent a day in late January touring Fort Lauderdale’s art scene on a water taxi.

“Envision is committed to fostering a culture that supports diversity and inclusion and the health and well-being of employees,” said Dr. Pulido. “The Lean In Circle is one of our many initiatives that recognize our diverse workforce and our dedication to helping women advance their careers in leadership positions.”

Apart from the Lean In initiative, our women leaders work hard to promote diversity and inclusion through Envision’s many leadership and mentorship programs.
